Who I Work With

My London-based practice is open to adults, families, and couples, as well as children (8+) and teens, with options for online or in-person sessions.

Individual Therapy

I support individuals that feel stuck, alone or like their relationships don't seem to work. My therapeutic approach helps make sense of the things that just don't feel right.

Couples

I support couples that feel like they're struggling to connect and worry that their needs and communication are not in alignment. From social media use to cultural differences or styles of communication, bridging that gap is possible.

Children and Young People

I support children that feel stuck, alone and can't seem to escape the feeling that something isn't aligning. This service is open to children and young people between the ages of 8-16.

Families

I support families that feel like they're struggling to connect and worry that their needs and communication are not in alignment. Whether there are challenging memories, bereavements or family estrangement, bridging that gap is possible.

Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating

I provide specialised therapy for eating disorders, disordered eating or challenges with thoughts around food, your body or body image. Food freedom and a healthy body image are possible for you.

Supervision

I provide counselling supervision for both counsellors in training and experienced professionals. Whether you're just starting out or looking to build on what you already know, supervision is intended to help you grow.

Testimonials

“Tamina has a way of explaining things that just make them make sense.”

My Approach

I work following an integrative modality, which essentially means I integrate multiple types of therapeutic styles.

For those who are interested or have had therapy before, the core modalities I draw on in my practice include Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies. I also have additional training in CBT and DBT, as well as trauma therapies.

Rather than following a set manual, you will often hear me ask “What do you think about this?”, “Does this make sense to you?” and “How does this way of thinking sound to you?”.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

1

Fully Understanding
'What is Going On?'

You’ll get to a place where you are able to answer:

What is happening to me?
Why is it happening?

Where is it coming from?

2

Knowing What To Do

It’s especially hard when we reach a place where we feel there is nothing we can do or we don’t know what it is.

The therapy I do aims to empower you and offer you the resources needed so that you don’t feel this way anymore.

Flexible Session Scheduling

We always start with an initial session for you to get a feel of the therapy and if this is the right fit for you. Therapy can take a weekly format where you choose a timeslot every week/bi-weekly but can also be adapted to your work schedule or to meet the needs of your life.

Ready to Take the First Step?

If you’re not sure whether therapy is the right thing or you want to learn more, book a free introductory call. These free 15–20-minute meetings give us a chance to get to know each other better, for me to understand more of what you’re looking for and identify how I can support you.

Thank you for your message! I will be in touch soon.
